Tasting Notes: An elegant Aussie Chardonnay, bright lemon in colour with a fresh nose full of ripe peach and citrus. The palate has a nice weight with flavours of ripe mango, pineapple and peach with a crisp acidity and green apple notes. The tropical notes linger on the palate finishing long and refined. No oak.
Wine production labeled as South East Australia origin can include grapes grown in the states of NSW, South Australia and Victoria. This is necessary as the important grape growing districts on the Murray River can straddle more than one state boundary. Regional blending also allows a winemaker the flexibility of resources to maintain consistent quality. This regional inter-blending allows the luxury of fusing various grape varieties and styles to produce Australian wines that showcase the archetypal Aussie style, brash and big on fruit with a rich finish on the palate.
