Medium bodied, deliciously complex, fruity, dry and moreish. Did we say silky and smooth too?

Tasting Notes: 100% Pinot Noir aged in French Oak for 11 months. A dark ruby, tawny colour with a bouquet of lifted aromas of violets and cassis, intermingled with dark fruits and a savoury earthiness.
Found on the banks of the Awatere & Wairau Rivers in the heart of Marlborough, the high lying vineyard has Loess and Clay soils which give good minerality and power to the vines. The grapes are hand picked and fermented part whole bunch and part destemmed in tank then passed into French oak barrels, 25% new, for 11 months. This impressive Pinot offers dark cherries, strawberries and minerals on the nose and again cherries and strawberries and plum stone freshness and acidity on the palate, this has lots of length and will age very well.
