More Info
Tasting Notes: Aromatic and bright. Lime, lemon & apricot and jasmine blossom mixed with hazelnuts and hints of spice. The palate has an excellent concentration of fruit flavours - ripe citrus, honeysuckle, with a lovely balance of of sweetness from the fruits balanced by refreshing acidity. Textured and delicious. Mouth coating without being cloying.
The harvest is handpicked from the Brookby Hill & Jomara vineyards in the Southern Valleys, loess over clay soil, in organic conversion since 2020, medium dry style (24g/l RS), unoaked. Partially whole bunch pressed and then fermented cool in stainless steel. The fermentation was stopped when the sweetness and acidity were in perfect balance. The wine then rested on fine lees for two months to gain texture and palate weight.
