Tasting Notes: Buttery, slightly smoky Chardonnay with attractive, lemony acidity. Elegant floral and citrus nose with an underlying stone fruit character. Juicy citrus, white peach and cream surge through, with a spicy finish.
This Mâcon-Villages is made from Chardonnay grapes which grow on the clay-limestone soils of South Burgundy. La Crochette is selected from the best winegrowers and vinified by Maison Loron in temperature controlled vats under the strict control of their winemakers. Maison Jean Loron, a family owned vineyard specialises in Maconnais and Beaujolias wines.
Food Match : Aperitif or with starters, cooked meats and cheese - especially goats cheese.
