Tasting Notes: Aromas of ripe stone fruits with fresh herbs. The palate has complex flavours - white peach, apricot with sweet elegant spice. Lovely long lasting finish, with soft, dry aftertaste. Roter Veltliner is a pink skinned variety that is grown in lower Austria and particularly in Wagram. It produces wines that are very aromatic and concentrated.
"An utterly spectacular find that will realign your senses...a haunting, textural and seductive wine, and this newly released 2022 vintage is by far and away the finest example I have ever tasted of this beguiling grape.....a terrifically silky texture....this wine ranks very close to the summit of an eureka-like wine experience" Matthew Jukes, MoneyWeek 12th January 2024
