Rickety Bridge Chenin Blanc : An abundance of guava and peach on the nose with underlying floral and green fig notes. A full rich palate of tropical fruit, orange marmalade and spice leads into a long honeyed finish.
Rickety Bridge Sauvignon Blanc : Vibrant and zesty with aromas of pear, gooseberry and passion fruit layered with subtle mineral tones. Full flavoured with a rich mid-palate, peach and lychee flavours which linger on the finish.
Rickety Bridge Pinotage : Opulent dark forest fruit with aromatic notes of spice, white pepper and dark chocolate. The palate is textured and layered, showing elegance and refined structure with supple velvety tannins. Fresh, juicy and balanced acidity, subtle oak with hints of clove and mulberry lingers on the finish.
Rickety Bridge is a boutique wine cellar situated just on the edge of Franschhoek village in South Africa. Undoubtedly one of the most progressive boutique wineries in the Cape. The historic winemaking cellar was recently renovated and converted into a barrel fermentation centre, the new winery was built and modern cooling equipment was installed. Situated in the shadow of the Dassenberg mountains, the mild Franschhoek valley is seeing excellent wines from new winemaker Wynand Grobler .
