Tasting Notes:
Intense ruby red in colour. The aromas are dense and complex - spicy notes of cinnamon and pepper, followed by delicate hints of leather and tobacco. Allow to breathe before drinking, for aromas to develop - wood, fruit jam and vanilla with toasty hints, finishing with delicate balsamic notes. The palate is full-bodied and enveloping. A distinct note of tannin which is balanced with fresh acidity. Excellent persistency in the finish. Sapid and warm. Deserves a large wine glass!
Merlot, formerly present in Veneto at the end of the 19th century, is considered one of the most representative red wines of the Veneto wine culture.
