Tasting Notes: Rich chocolate notes on the nose. Black morello cherry with toasty vanilla oak. Full bodied with smooth velvety finish.
In order to reach a higher quality of the grapes and to enhance the vine characteristics, in August a thinning out of the bunches is done. The harvest begins in the first weeks of October. Hand-picked grapes are vinified with skin contact in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 -30 °C. Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, the malolactic fermentation starts. Ageing of one year in stainless steel and one year in oak barrels.
Food Match : Perfect with BBQ meats, beef casseroles, roast beef with all the trimmings.
