Tasting Notes: Deep purply red in colour. Aromas of ripe black fruits. The palate is rich, elegant and dense - ripe black fruits, cassis, hints of vanilla sweetness. Ripe, firm tannins leading to a velvety, smooth finish. Beautifully structured. 2015 is considered an exceptional vintage.
Aged 100% in oak barrels. Drinking well now, but can be aged for up to 20 years.
Situated next to the iconic Château Chasse Spleen on one of the highest plateaux in the Médoc, Château du Moulin is owned by José Sanfins, Director at the 3rd Growth Château Cantenac Brown.
