Juicy blackberry, clean spice, cigar box smokeyness - concentrated and balanced. Delicious weight

Tasting Notes: A textbook example of a Cru Bourgeois from Moulis-en-Médoc. The 2007 vintage is drinking really well with a classic mix of dark bramble fruit and cigar box smokeyness and a long lingering finish. A serious, intense wine, a success for the vintage, with its dusty tannins, solid blackberry fruits and a firm core. The wine is weighty, maybe just giving a green pepper hint, but generally sitting foursquare in the mouth.
