Tasting Notes: Fortified Liquor Wine of the Jerez-Xérés-Sherry Denomination of Origin, exclusively oxidative aging, its best qualities come from the mixture of the different wines that make it up.
Cream Alameda is the result of a careful selection of Olorosos and Pedro Ximénez wines. These wines come from grape must of the Palomino Fino and Pedro Ximénez varieties. The Palomino Fino variety is carefully cultivated on white albariza soils, which are highly prized for obtaining very fine, high-quality musts. They come from our own vineyards located in the Balbaina and Miraflores payments, considered the best in Jerez. The Pedro Ximénez variety is harvested very mature and left in the sun to achieve a higher concentration of sugar.
"Our Olorosos and Pedro Ximénez are aged in old oak wood casks with the traditional Criaderas and Solera system. The oxidative aging over the years, gives the wine a lot of body and characteristic aromas, giving it character and personality."
