All the classic characteristics of an Australian Shiraz
More Info
Tasting Notes: Bright red in colour with purple hues. Aromas of ripe, dark fruits, pepper, mint and tobacco with classic savoury notes of leather. All the characteristics you expect in an Australian Shiraz - juicy fruit flavours of soft spicy redcurrant, ripe dark plums balanced by smooth, savoury tannins, combining towards a smooth finish. Full bodied and brimming with fruit flavours, delivering a complex and inviting palate.
The grapes are sourced from vineyards across Southeast Australia. They are picked at night to avoid high daytime temperatures and crushed immediately after picking. Temperature-controlled fermentation avoids extraction of harsh tannins to maintain the juicy fruit flavours.
Food Match : Perfect with grilled meats - lamb or beef. Great with rich beef stew, sausage & mash with onion gravy or Mediterranean roast vegetables with couscous, chorizo & halloumi. Hard, sharp cheeses like Manchego or Comte.
