Tasting Notes: Bright golden yellow in colour. Aromatic and fresh, citrus & tropical fruits, mountain tea and jasmin with herbaceous notes that follow through to the palate. Richly structured body and intriguing acidity. Lovely depth & structure give this wine weight. the finish has tangy minerality.
Hand picked from the Nemea vineyard then transferred directly to the winery were the grapes are cold soaked for 10 to 14 hours. The free run juice is taken, the alcoholic process lasts for 3 to 4 weeks. The wine stays sur-lie, with multiple battonage weekly for 5 months. filtration and bottling follows.
Wine has been made in Nemea for 2800 years - the Athanasiou family have had vineyards there since 1855
