Light, elegant and attractively fruity. A natural wine
More Info
Tasting Notes: Aromas of black fruits and floral notes of violet and peony. A pure, fruity wine - small red fruits, with light spice in the finish. Beautiful rounded, smooth tannins that offer great balance to the fruits. Excellent structure that holds the flavours to a lovely finish.
Frédéric Maignet is the master craftsman of the natural wine. This method of wine making and ageing requires no addition of sulphites. We make a selection of plots of old vines located around Lantignié and Régnié villages.
The vineyards are located on the bests areas of Beaujolais Villages. They are grown on dry granite soil, south-facing hills around the villages of Lantignié and Régnié. The vines are on average 50 years old and they are grown according to sustainable farming methods.
